Marek Jargiło began his love affair with glass in the Greek glassware studios.
There, under the tutelage of Greek craftsmen, he got familiar with unique glass
dyeing and forming techniques. In 1997, he came back to Poland and established
his own private studio, where he began to produce artistic glassware. He creates
a wide selection of cake stands, fruit bowls, vases, goblets and candlesticks,
all produced in his own idiosyncratic style. The products are ornamented with
particles of coloured metals embedded in glass, with air bubbles and they are
dyed in a variety of rich hues. Products of Jargiło make can be found in the
homes of art collectors as well as in art galleries, both in Poland and abroad.
